E-mail (electronic mail) is a way to send messages to others via the
Internet in electronic form. You write e-mail as
you would write a letter using a word processor such as Microsoft Word
or WordPerfect.
The difference is in how you send e-mail: instead of printing out the
message and sending it
via the postal system, you simple click "Send". The e-mail should arrive
at its destination
within a matter of seconds or minutes, depending on where it is headed.
Sending an e-mail message is simple using Netscape Messenger.
All you need to know
is the
recipient's e-mail address. To receive e-mail from others, you must give
them your e-mail
address, which was provided to you when you registered for the Business Internet
service.
