E-mail is the single most popular function of the Internet. Using e-mail, you can send letters to friends all over the world easily and quickly. Once you send an e-mail message, it will arrive at its destination in a matter of seconds, and your correspondent can reply immediately. With e-mail, there are no stamps and no striking postal services!

Special software is required to send and receive e-mail. Business Internet members used Netscape Messenger, which is part of the Netscape Communicator software suite.

• organize your saved e-mail messages
• filter incoming messages
• create an address book
