Starting Up | Sending E-mail | Getting E-mail | Attaching Files Using Folders | Address Book | Saving Drafts | Toolbars | MAIL FILTERS Using filters, you can have your new messages automatically placed in specific folders, or even deleted, based on the subject line, the sender's e-mail address, or words in the body of the message. Messenger allows you to make multiple filters, establish a sequence to how they are applied to new messages, and to turn them on or off at the click of your mouse. To view your filters, start Messenger, then click the Edit menu and click Mail Filters. You will see the Mail Filters window. You can use this window to create new filters, edit existing ones and to rearrange their sequence of application.
To create a new filter, click the New button. You will see the Filter Rules window.
